Born on a space vessel, Washburne has no homeworld. Fought for Independence in the Unification War, serving under Malcolm Reynolds. Later joined Mal’s crew aboard the serenity. She is fiercely loyal to her captain, and strongly attached to husband and Serenity pilot Hoban “Wash” Washburne.
